About to Burst from the Stress of Being Good

Naomi was good at school and in after-care all week. Not 100%, but really a big improvement. She made it to the end of the week, barely, and then imploded. I had to carry her out of CalTort tonight weeping and wailing. She is currently in bed, singing to herself and NOT sleeping.

  1. I almost made it home from work tonight before that happened to me. Fortunately nobody could hear me weeping, wailing, or singing while I was in the car, although people _were_ looking at me kind of funny. What do they expect, though, it's just *so* frustrating when the disk farm on the unix cluster crashes and there's no one left at work on a Friday evening to fix it.

P.S. "CalTort"? Some sort of dietary legal injunction?

  2. Yes indeed, tantrums in private are just fine - Naomi just needs to learn to pick her time and place.
