This was a service day to bake bread. Dave was the parent on hand; the only dad in a sea of moms and brownies.

Another No-Win Basket Raffle Night

Naomi was really upset last year when she won nothing. We attempted to explain odds to her this year. Again she won nothing, and started to get upset, but better than last year. Darn, and I so wanted her to have the Spiderman webbing thrower she put in for. (Where's the ironic font?)

Naomi and Detention

So, Naomi got detention today for a series of unfortunate events that we will call refusing to be disrespected.

Dave: "Naomi, how was detention today?"
Naomi: "Fun! I got to read and draw and the Principal said it's because I'm an only child and he likes me! I like him too, he's nice."

Uh-huh.
